SPOTFIRES ARE SMALL, PASSIONATE GROUPS OF BELIEVERS WHO GATHER TO PRAY AND GO — IGNITING A GENERATION TO SEE THE GOSPEL SPREAD, LIVES TRANSFORMED, AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD ADVANCED.
They are simple, grassroots, gatherings spreading across the UK & Ireland that align with a vision from Jean Darnell in the 1960s of small fires of prayer, mission and revival that would grow until our nations are ablaze with the light of the gospel. They are a key part of The Send UK & Ireland’s message of:
“We Pray. We Go.”
Spotfires are designed to work alongside the local church, equipping believers to:
Pray

Boldly sharing the gospel and stepping into mission wherever God has placed you — going to the streets, your school, university, neighbourhood, workplace, or beyond.
// What Do Spotfires Look Like?
A Spotfire is about intentional community - to pray together, and to go together. Spotfires can happen anywhere — in homes, schools, workplaces, coffee shops, or parks.
Spotfires typically include:

// How to get involved
start a spotfire
Start a monthly gathering with others from your area to pray for revival and preach the gospel.We’ll invite you to one of our ‘Ignition Calls’, when we will give you some training on starting a group, then share some key resources, connect you to a local ‘Spotfire Champion’, and track with you as you get praying and preaching. We can’t wait for you to be activated into a lifestyle of prayer and evangelism.
connect your group to the network
If you want to connect an existing group, we would love to fuel what is already happening with training videos & community encouragement. It doesn’t need it to have the Spotfires label, name, or ‘brand’, Spotfires exist to serve the wider movement of God in your community and church.
Again, we will invite you to one of our ‘Ignition Calls’, support you with resources and a local Spotfire Champion, and track with you.
From there, we’ll encourage you to gather a few friends hungry for Jesus, to commit to praying for God to move, step out in sharing the gospel, and celebrate what God does!
